My subject matter is the northern landscape be it urban or rural. In my work I aim to capture the light and colours of this magnificent forever changing landscape that surrounds us. I like to observe, to search, stylise, abstract, change, transform and refine to produce a finished piece, which I think captures the essence of the moment.
